R.V. College of Engineering or RVCE, Bangalore is a private technical co-educational college located in Bangalore, Karnataka, India. Started in 1963, RVCE has 11 departments in engineering, one school of architecture.

The Institute was founded, and is managed by the Rashtreeya Sikshana Samiti Trust in Bangalore. It has been recognized as a centre of excellence by the Union Government of India and is considered as the most preferred college in Bangalore to study engineering.

The institute is belongs to the Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belgaum. The undergraduate courses are granted academic autonomy by the university. RVCE is certified by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), all its departments are certified by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA), and its school of Architecture is certified by the Council of Architecture (COA).

Master of Technology (M. Tech):

Master of Technology is a postgraduate degree program. The course helps an aspirant to specialize in any engineering and technology subject to be familiar with the vast applications of the concerned subject. Many Engineering colleges and institutes offer the program and students can pursue the program as a part time program or on a regular basis.

Master of Technology ( MTech ) is a specialization course where a candidate focuses on a sub domain or a sub field of the engineering graduation course completed in Bachelor’s program. Eligibility Criteria -

Candidates must be graduate in BE/B Tech or equivalent from a recognized univeristy. Admission to M.Tech is based on PGCET Entrance test conducted by VTU.

Students are admitted to postgraduate courses on basis of their GATE test scores, as well as on their Post Graduate Karnataka CET scores.
