JSS Academy of Technical Education (JSSATE), Bangalore was set up in the year 1997 at Bangalore and is under the umbrella of JSS Mahavidyapeetha, Mysore.

The institute is the result of the vision of our president, His holiness Sri Sri Shivarathri Deshikendra Mahaswamiji to proactively participate in establishing a world class institution for technical education.

The institute was inaugurated by former president of India Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam. The Institute was founded by JSS Mahavidyapeeth of Sri Suttur Veerashimhasana Math, Suttur. The college is approved by All India Council for Technical Education.
