The Mechanical Engineering branch was founded from the academic year 2011-2012. All the laboratories required for second year have been started procuring state of the art equipment.  A separate building for mechanical department is being built which houses laboratories with state of art facilities, Research and Development center, Seminar hall, Department library and classrooms.

The department has a team of talented staff members with a blend of industry and academic experience. Faculty members with minimum masters degree qualification having specialization in Machine Design, Thermal engineering, Product Design and Maintenance Engineering are at service.
