Rajarajeswari College
of Engineering (RRCE) was founded in the year 2006 and is managed by
Moogambigai Charitable and Education Trust (MCET), Bangalore.
The College is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi, and Govt. of Karnataka and is affiliated to
Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU) Belgaum.
The college encourages and sponsors the talented students to
take part in co-curricular and extracurricular activities within and outside
the campus.
The College at the departmental level organizes
Workshops/seminars/Expert Lectures/ Conferences/Student Symposium, Sports
tournaments and technical paper presentation competitions. Many of our college
students have represented VTU in various sports and games.
The College encourages faculty members through incentives
and sponsorships to gain higher degrees, to publish text books/papers and
participate in Seminar/Workshop/Conferences that are held not only within our
country but also abroad.
Master of Technology (M.Tech):-
Master of Engineering or Master of Technology or Master of
Science in Technology or Master of Engineering degree is a postgraduate program
in engineering or technology field. ME/MTech degree program exposes students to
a wide range of courses, combined with specialized research which culminates in
a thesis.
Such a combination gives students the breadth and depth
necessary for pursuing careers in academics as well as industry. The residence
requirements for ME/M.Tech program is four semesters. However, it is possible
to get permission to spend one semester elsewhere. If someone wants to carry
out the thesis work in a company, or at some other educational institution, it
is allowed by the Institute.

- RajaRajeswari College of Engineering offers full time M.Tech
- Duration of the course is 2 years spread over 4 semesters
- The course covers all subjects related to the domain and has bright future prospects

Placements:
Placement scenario is poor in Rajarajeshwari College of
Engineering with only a couple of companies having visited the campus for
recruitments. Those too were local small time companies and not even mass
recruiters like TCS & Accenture visited the campus. About 10% of the
students manage to secure jobs on-campus with average (& maximum) salary of
3 lakhs. However the situation is such mainly due to college is new and is
expected to improve soon 'if' it builds a reputation for itself.
